Hi! I’m Megan Wren, a watercolor artist with a love for capturing the beauty of nature in every brushstroke. I specialize in loose, expressive floral watercolor paintings that reflect the wild blooms and peaceful moments I see all around me.
I was born and raised in Hennessey, Oklahoma, where I still live with my wonderful husband of 15 years and our adventurous 10-year-old son who keeps us on our toes. He loves being on the farm, playing with our animals, and playing every sport he can. We also have two incredible adult stepchildren who are out making their own way in the world - one is a dedicated registered nurse, and the other is working toward a doctorate in physical therapy. When I’m not painting, you’ll find me outside watching my chickens and ducks, studying the way their feathers glisten in the sun and how water dances off their backs. Oklahoma sunsets, rolling thunderstorms, and every petal and leaf I come across fuel my creativity and fill my art with color and life.
Alongside my own painting, I love giving back by volunteering and teaching art at our local elementary school. Sharing the joy of creating with kids is one of my favorite things.
